About the role
Dawning is at a stage where design is one of the most important levers we have. The product is working. The team is small. The decisions made about how Dawning looks, feels, and behaves right now will define what it becomes. We are looking for a designer who understands that and wants to own it.
You will work directly with the founders on every major product decision, design end to end from the first interaction to the most complex workflow, and be the person who makes Dawning feel as good as it works.
What you will do
Own the end to end design of Dawning across web and product. Work directly with the founders and engineering team to take features from concept to shipped. Build and maintain the design system that keeps Dawning consistent as the product grows. Run research, gather feedback, and bring the voice of the user into every design decision. Raise the quality of everything visual that leaves the team.
What we are looking for
A designer who thinks in systems and sweats the details in equal measure. Someone with a strong portfolio of product work — not just pretty screens but evidence of thinking, iteration, and shipped outcomes. Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where not everything is defined before you start. Experience designing data-heavy or AI products is a genuine plus.
